It boasts of almost an avalanche of 4,495 Universities with global recognition for their excellence in imparting knowledge. Students idealize USA for its blue-chip professional opportunities. Why would anybody want to miss out on a chance of being an integral part of such vivacious surroundings?
USA education year is divided into 3 main terms:
- Fall Term (August – December)
- Spring Term (Jan - May)
- Optional Summer Term (June – Aug)
Out of these 3 terms, the preferred admission intake of universities for all freshmen is Fall session. So international students need to focus their applications for the fall semester. Some selected universities accept international students in the spring intake as well (check the concerned university’s website or contact Mnemonic for up to date information at the time of applying). The spring intake can be targeted by those students who miss out on the fall intake.
A student can take admission to US universities as:
- Freshman (after 12th grade)
- Transfer student (during bachelor’s degree)
- Graduate (After bachelors or Masters)
